BetterBase provides an agent to install on your database server and a central admin dashboard to manage and schedule backups.
BetterBase supports full and incremental backups for all database types.
For more advanced Point-in-time Recovery, BetterBase uses Postgres WAL archiving (with some additional configuration).
We store all backups in any S3-compatible object storage service, either from your existing cloud provider or a standalone service like Cloudflare R2.
Any object storage access we have is granted based on the credentials you provide to us for backups.
At the moment BetterBase's primary focus is on PostgreSQL database backups, but we are evaluating other databases based on customer feedback.
